Project Overview

In collaboration with renowned London-based design and build studio Zulufish, this project reflects the role of fireplaces as architectural elements. The client brief called for a fire that was both functional and visually impactful acting as a contemporary room divider for a large open plan living area while adding warmth, atmosphere and architectural clarity to the space.

The Fireplace

We specified and installed the Kalfire GP85/50R, a premium three-sided, room-divider gas fire known for its clean lines, advanced flame technology, and design flexibility. Its panoramic flame view offers connection between adjoining spaces without visual obstruction, making it ideal for modern residential layouts.

Equipped with LED mood lighting and Natural Spark Generator (NSG) technology, this model delivers a lifelike flame experience that brings ambience from every angle.
To enhance the visual detail, we added polished granite reveals, creating depth, contrast, and a finish that complements the modern architectural palette of the space.

Design – Led Integration – Our 4 Phase 10 – Step Approach

This fire was installed within a fully designed living space, with careful coordination between the fire structure and the surrounding materials. Our process ensured seamless integration of the fireplace into a wider architectural and design context, from first consultation to post-installation support. Working closely with Andrea Palmer Interiors, we ensured the fire enhanced rather than competed with the overall scheme.
