Project Overview

This private residence in Richmond blends indoor with outdoor living. The client sought a refined focal point for the main reception room. One that would complement the property’s clean architectural lines while offering warmth and luxurious ambience. Marble Hill Fireplaces was commissioned to design and deliver a full fireplace solution, incorporating fire selection, chimney breast construction, integrated flue work and final custom finishing.

The Fireplace

A Barbas Bellfires View Bell gas fire was selected for its panoramic flame effect and superior performance. Set within a bespoke chimney breast, the fire is paired with a dark honed granite stone plinth that contrasts beautifully against the surrounding neutral palette.

This balanced flue gas fireplace offers the benefits of modern efficiency with the visual appeal of real flames. An ideal solution for contemporary living spaces without a traditional chimney.

Working closely with the interior layout and flow of the open plan room, our team custom designed the chimney breast to accommodate the flue system and elegantly frame the fire. A statement antique gilt mirror and contemporary artwork complete the composition, showcasing the versatility of the installation in both traditional and modern design schemes.
