The Restoration Process
Each mantel underwent a full restoration by our in house stonemason, including specialist cleaning, repairs to damaged sections, and careful refinishing to revive the original stonework. The goal was to preserve their historical integrity while ensuring a pristine and durable finish.
Fireplace Chamber, Fire selection, design and Installation
Modern bioethanol fires were chosen for their clean burning, sustainable technology and ease of use in urban residences. Each fire was installed with a custom chamber lining, tailored to blend with the proportions and style of the original fireplaces.
Hearth & Surround
Complementary hearths were selected and fabricated to enhance the visual balance of the mantels while meeting the technical requirements of the bioethanol fire installations.
Expertise & Craftsmanship
Executed in close partnership with Michael Brady, this project is a testament to the combined craftsmanship of traditional restoration and contemporary fire solutions completed to the highest standard by our expert team.
The Result
